2025 Songbirds Youth Musical Festival

ABOUT:
 

Songbirds Youth Music Festival was founded and produced by Global Musical Bridges in 2018 in Denver (Colorado). The festival is presented in celebration of the joy of instrumental, and vocal performance, offering important performance opportunities to aspiring young performers from all over the world.

 

OUR MISSION:

 

​The Mission of the Songbirds Youth Music Festival is to encourage young musicians to perform and grow. We believe that our annual music festival can offer many benefits to our participants and help to build their confidence and realize their dreams. Our purpose is to discover young talents and provide awards, which can help to launch their professional careers.

AGE CATEGORIES:

CATEGORY A - 7 to 10 years​
CATEGORY B - 11 to 14 years
​CATEGORY C - 15 to 18 years
CATEGORY D -19 to 21 years

​

SINGERS - Solo / Ensemble / Choir

INSTRUMENTALISTS - Piano, Strings, Woodwind & Brass instruments​

​PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS:

​

- All participants should prepare TWO contrasting compositions exceeding no more than 12 minutes -

 

 
Vocalists:

​

- Two contrasting songs (all languages accepted) -

- Piano accompaniment required for classical singers -

- Background music required for Pop & Jazz singers -

- No accapella performance allowed -

- Please, email your background music in MP3 format to global.m.bridges@gmail.com by November 10th, 2023 -

Composers:

- Composers must perform two competitions -
- Music scores must be uploaded with the application -

 

- All compositions should be well prepared and performed by memory -

- Composers can use their music scores during the performance -

 - Vocalists and other solo instruments should use live piano accompaniment -

 - Any changes in the program are not allowed after the submitted Online Application -

- Late applications after October 20, 2023, will NOT be accepted under any circumstances -

APPLICATION PROCEDURE​​:​

- Online Application -

- Non-refundable Application Fee - $75​ -

- Performers will be accepted after the pre-video screening -

- (in the application add a link to your YouTube Video recording. Video can be filmed on your phone, and added to your YouTube channel -
- One composition from your program is required for pre-performance screening -

 - Late or incomplete applications will not be accepted -

- Global Musical Bridges reserves the right to use photos and videos taken during the festival

for promotional purposes -
